It took a money transfer company to figure out a problem that has existed for more than 40 years for international students attending U.S. schools. A Western Union (NYSE: WU) allows international students to pay for school from their home countries in their own currency. The new service is a partnership between Western Union Business Solutions and participating universities. International students historically had to go through several financial institutions to make their tuition payments because of the currency fluctuations and government restrictions.
